Delbert “Dub” Ehret Scholarship Fund

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship assistance, to youth within our community, who want to belong to the Atchison Family YMCA / Cray Community Center.

Dub, was the Executive Director of the Atchison YMCA. He retired from the Y after 39 years of service back in 1988, and was most well known as the originator of the “Boundary Waters” canoe trips, Teen Town, and countless Bean Suppers. 

Dub passed away at the age of 96 in November 2019, and was a pillar in our community.
