AACF Announces New Executive Director

The Atchison Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Grace Sammoury as its new Executive Director, effective immediately.

With a robust background in Marketing, Fine Arts, and English from Benedictine College, Grace brings a unique perspective to her role. Her previous experience as a middle school teacher and assistant director of admissions at Benedictine College has equipped her with valuable skills in communication, relationship-building, and organizational leadership. Having lived in Atchison for nearly ten years, she has a heart for the community and is eager to serve. 

Grace has a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and dedication. She is uniquely positioned to guide the AACF in its mission to improve the quality of life for all citizens in the Atchison area by increasing charitable giving by means of connecting donors to community needs they care about and educating the community on philanthropy. As Executive Director, Grace will oversee AACF’s strategic direction, operations, and community partnerships by working closely with the AACF Board of Directors and supporters of the Foundation.
